There’s something about him that I haven’t seen in a long time. It’s refreshing in a steadfast and relatable way. Not in a crazy manic positivity way. 🤞🏻
He’s not perfect he is wealthy owns several companies. One which he built and ran in Canada but took to the states because we have too many regulations. He should bring his company back to Canada
If you own a home or have investments, this is the man for you. If you don’t, you can expect a downward trajectory of hardship and misery. Canadians will continue to split into two classes and the have-nots find a fool and some billionaires to tear it all down, we’ll know who to thank for that.
I am begging you to learn from our neighbours down south and stop electing asset managers as our leaders. They have done nothing but make sure they go up in price and throw crumbs to the people who can’t enter their class while telling them “the economy is good actually”.

he feels like the steady hand we need at the wheel
Thanks for that piece Cole
I have been watching him for years
Carney is the real deal
Poilievre and o’leary are AWFUL people
I like that we can keep the capitalists happy at the same time we embrace initiatives to address climate issues
He’s not a politician, but perhaps this is what Canada needs right now. And, he’s smart … he knows exactly how tariffs work.
He actually answers a question when one is posed rather than just spouting talking points.
Excellent piece.

Than you for writing this. I am definitely voting for Mark Carney.
We are already amazing…. appreciate what you have.
So well written Cole!
Gawd I hope you’re right.
It would, and will be nice to have a PM with a brain once again.
Carney's book Value(s) was a refreshing read for me. Recommend.
